This rig was designed and manufactured meticulously by experts in the geotechnical field to ensure that it is caters perfectly to small domestic, industrial, environmental and commercial projects. This extremely mobile and versatile rig travels everywhere.

It is the perfect median for small scale geo-technical investigations where SPT’s are needed but no information is needed beyond rock.

The rig is equipped with; Low speed solid flight auger rotary head, winch, automatic SPT hammer, percussion hammer for push tubes and head slide.

Oxcorr Drilling Rig

The drill is trailer mounted and accompanied by a Mitsubishi Fuso with a maximum length of 10- meters. Provided access for the truck and trailer, the drill maintains a compact footprint on site, making it versatile for various applications.

This rig is equipped with; 2-speed mud rotary drill head, Automatic SPT hammer, Comet APS121 Mud pump, high torque winch, head slide and automatic rod clamp.

EziProbe – BT-50 Ute Mounted | CQ Soil Testing

MDR – Mini Track Drill Rig

This rig has been specifically built for tight access drilling sites and boasts the ability to be craned into specific high-risk areas. It is mounted on rubber tracks and is remotely controlled for easy access in difficult areas.

The rig is equipped with a 2-speed mud rotary drill head, Automatic SPT hammer, Comet APS121 Mud pump, high torque winch with winch limiter and automatic rod clamp. The rig can be craned to any location with suitable access. All lifting lugs have been modified, tested, and tagged for safety. Additionally, the rig comes with fully engineered lifting schematics provided by the manufacturers.

This drill has just undergone a strenuous refurbishment and is now mine site and civil complaint in accordance with all major contractor’s specifications. Some modifications made include:

  • 4 interlocked E-Stops
  • Winch Limiter
  • Rod cage interlocker
  • Burst protection and hose socking fitted to all hydraulic hoses
  • Raise/lower mast/track alarms installed
  • NDT
  • Lifting register created (all lifting appliances tested, tagged and logged)
